Say goodbye to 1st year of uni.

My 1st year of uni ended at 12.45pm, 6th of November 2009. (the time i finished my last exam!)

What did i learn throughout the year?? Well, this is actually a very good question. Because the answer is.. im dont noe or i should say im not sure at all. :)

I had 8 units this year...
The hardest yet most interesting subject is Business Law.

The most unprepared subject for exam is definitely Macroeconomics. My hands are literally shaking when im doing my paper.

And, of course, the most stressful semester is SEMESTER 2. I had my exams for all 4 subjects in just one week! Unbelievable right?! I noe rite? I actually think that i got my one and only white hair during this period.

Ok, enough of this university talk because my summer holiday has just started!! I need to have fun, enjoy all the series and the sun!!!! :)

P.S. One of my friends told me the lamest joke of all time and he definitely beat shu hui! Well, the joke is.. 'Im so cool, i can stop global warming!'

Can't laugh at all rite....

Randomness.

Ee Ling used to say she loves or loved my randomness. Well, here are some of the random things i need to tell:

Karma. What comes to your mind you think of the word?? Well, most probably .. it will be the famous 'what comes around, goes around', agree?

But, i discovered that there's a totally scientific way in defining the word. Thanks to Raj from Big Bang Theory, karma can also be explained by Newton's 3rd law. For every action, there's an equal reaction. XD

Own and invest. How do you explain the concept of corporation. Here's how my tutor teach us the concept.

Question: Why do your parents feed you, pay for your tuition fees??
Class's Answer: Because.. they love me. Because.. they have the responsibilities to do so?!

Question: So, do your parents own you then??
Class's Answer: Definitely no. They dont own me because if they own me, they tell me what i can and cannot do and that's not the case. (For most of the asians, parents do own their children. XD)


Conclusion made by my tutor:
Well, your parent may or may not do this taking care of you thing out of love but one of the reasons they feed you is because it's part of their retirement plan. They invest in you and they don't own you. Whether or not you take care of them in the future is the risk that they bear. If you do take care of them, you are a good investment and vice versa.

The same thing goes to the corporation. Shareholders don't the company, they invest in the company. Funny how he thought of it this way rite?? :D

Library is one of the 'must go' place these days and trust me, you can find tons of interesting notes and messages on the table and even on the wall!!

I'm sad today because... (i can't believe im saying this out loud) I fail BUSINESS LAW assignment!!

Well, that's not the end of the world.. rite?? I can still get a distinction for the subject if i do well for my finals!

So, yeah.. all i need to do now is

STUDY, STUDY, STUDY!!! ;)

I'm happy today! :)

Because i dint screw up my biz law online mcq this time..

And i got FULL MARKS!

haha.. so happy. :D
